Emergency Department RN Job in Frankfort, KY

Join Frankfort Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 29, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in a 28-bed Emergency Department as part of an 18-member per 24-hour staffing team. Your night shift assignment includes a Charge Nurse Coordinator, 3 RNs, a Unit Clerk, and a Greeter. You will maintain a 1:4 patient ratio and deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Equipment & Systems

• GE monitors and Lifepaks for cardiac monitoring
• Baxter IV pumps for infusion management
• Ranger rapid infuser and blood warmer for urgent transfusion support
• Meditech Expanse EMR system for documentation

Schedule & Compensation

Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 days per week (3x12). Weekly pay is $1,814.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• NIH (National Institutes of Health)

Staffing Structure

The department operates with distinct staffing models by shift. Day shift includes a CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter. Mid shift staffs 3 RNs and 2 PCTs. Night shift (your assignment) includes a CNC, 3 RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter. Two positions are currently available.
