ED RN Job in Paducah, KY

Join Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week, for a 93-day travel assignment beginning October 15, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,200.

In this role, you will deliver professional nursing care centered on the whole patient in a healing-focused environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments within RN scope of practice, considering patient culture, age, and developmental level
• Identify patient risk factors and presenting complaints through objective and subjective data collection
• Develop and prioritize patient problem lists in collaboration with the inter-professional team
• Design and implement care actions and interventions tailored to patient culture and age
• Establish desired patient outcomes in coordination with the patient, family, and medical plan of care
• Explain procedures, treatments, and processes to patients and families in clear language
• Recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately
• Conduct and document ongoing assessments and responses to procedures and therapies using the nursing process
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee team members in patient care activities
• Identify and address patient educational needs related to prioritized problems
• Facilitate the discharge process, including teaching and coordination with Case Management
• Participate actively in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI monitoring
• Promote a positive group dynamic and healing environment through evidence-based nursing practice

You will work in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting where your clinical skills and patient advocacy are essential.
