ED RN Job in Radcliff, Kentucky

Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Radcliff, Kentucky. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Position Details

• 12-hour shifts, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• Every other weekend required with a set schedule
• Every Wednesday off, with the option to work 6 shifts in a row and enjoy 8 consecutive days off
• Weekly pay: $2,200

Your Responsibilities

You will deliver whole-person patient care in a healing environment. You will perform and document comprehensive patient assessments within your RN scope of practice, considering patient culture, age, and developmental level when planning care actions and interventions.

You will identify patient risk factors and presenting complaints, collecting objective and subjective data. You will develop prioritized problem lists and determine desired outcomes in coordination with patients and families. You will implement patient care therapies and procedures with clinical autonomy within your scope of practice.

You will recognize, respond to, and communicate changes in patient condition appropriately. You will delegate tasks and oversee team members in the performance of patient care activities. You will identify and address patient educational needs based on comprehension level and facilitate timely patient discharge in coordination with Case Management.

You will actively participate in unit-based quality improvement activities, including patient satisfaction, patient falls, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI monitoring. You will promote a positive group dynamic and healing environment through collaborative nursing practice.
