Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a travel position in the Telemetry unit at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a 91-day assignment starting September 14, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Weekly pay: $2,337
• Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available; every other weekend required
• Overtime billable after 48 hours
• No on-call requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and med/surg overflow
• Manage cardiac drips (no nitrates)
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education
• Float as needed
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1

Requirements

• RN license in state of employment or compact required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
