Telemetry RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a Telemetry position at CHRISTUS St Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. This is a travel role with a potential temp-to-perm opportunity.

Position Details

• Specialty: Telemetry
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 10, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,426
• Schedule guarantees: 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Overtime not billable until after 48 hours

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and med-surg overflow
• Manage cardiac drips (no nitrate administration)
• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1, occasionally 6:1

Requirements

• RN license in Louisiana or compact state
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
