Respiratory Therapist Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel position at Center for Advanced Pediatrics (CHOA) in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a float role covering outpatient facilities, ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 days)
• Every other weekend required
• Duration: 89 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,490

Requirements:

• Active Georgia license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum 2 years of experience with mandatory pediatric experience
• Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED
• Proficiency in pulmonary function tests (PFT) with recent experience required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred
• Breeze software experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS

About the Role:

You will work in a pediatric-focused healthcare environment, utilizing Epic EMR. Your responsibilities will include respiratory assessment, therapeutic intervention, and equipment management across multiple care settings. The float position requires flexibility and strong communication skills to transition effectively between outpatient and acute care areas.
