Physical Therapist Assistant Job in San Andreas, CA

Mark Twain Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026. This is a post-acute care setting opportunity with a mix of outpatient and inpatient patient care.

Schedule & Hours

• Tuesday through Saturday day shift
• 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with one hour lunch break
• Saturday shifts are inpatient only, typically approximately 2.5 hours of work
• Every other weekend schedule

Patient Care Mix

• 90% outpatient care
• 10% inpatient care
• First to float when clinical needs arise

Facility Details

• Charting system: Cerner
• Post-acute care environment

Requirements

• Valid state physical therapy license required
• BLS Certification required

Assignment Terms

The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,016 for this 5x8 day schedule assignment.
