Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Sacramento, CA

McKinley Park Care Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Sacramento, California. This is a 91-day travel position starting September 2, 2026, offering weekly compensation of $1,843.

In this role, you will provide physical therapy assistant coverage within our skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. You'll work alongside an experienced rehab team in a fast-paced environment, managing a varied patient caseload while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist with patient assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation
• Implement treatment protocols and exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with the therapy team and interdisciplinary care staff
• Adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of SNF patients

Requirements:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability
• SNF experience is preferred but not required
