Respiratory Therapist Job in Largo, FL

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 15, 2026. You'll work the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three days per week at this 286-bed facility.

Your Role

You'll provide respiratory therapy services across the main hospital and the psych/rehab department at the Largo West campus. The night shift team consists of four therapists, and you'll be expected to float between both locations as needed. Your responsibilities include:

• Ventilator management and critical care support using Servo and 840 equipment
• Nebulizer treatments and aerosol delivery
• Arterial blood gas collection from A-lines and stick procedures
• Assistance with intubations, codes, and rapid responses
• Patient assessment and monitoring in a fast-paced critical care environment

What We're Looking For

You must have solid critical care skills and demonstrated ventilator management experience. Strong assessment abilities are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented setting. EMR experience with Meditech and ventilator certification are preferred.

Schedule and Expectations

You'll work every other weekend and holiday in rotation with hospital staff. This is a 3x12 night schedule, providing predictable time off between shifts. Parking is available in the garage on the third and fourth floors.

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $1,576.80. Gray scrubs are required as part of the dress code.
