Respiratory Therapist Job in Tallahassee, FL

You will work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of July 27, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care and emergency care services across ICU and ER units
• Float throughout all inpatient units per facility floating policy
• Perform aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management
• Manage various equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
• Demonstrate competency in intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assistance
• Support Level 2 NICU and pediatric patients within scope of practice
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary team rounding
• Document patient care using Meditech system
• Apply AIDET framework to patient experience standards

Requirements

• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
• Allied Health Professional credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay is $1,576.80. The assignment runs for 91 days. Standard work uniform is scrubs.
