Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holidays required
• Care for inpatients with a variety of medical conditions as well as post-operative patients on a 27-bed medical-surgical unit
• Patient population is primarily elderly but can be as young as 18 years old
• Common diagnoses include post-op ortho, general surgery, ETOH, CHF, and pneumonia
• RN patient ratio of 5:1
• Minimum 2 years of equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed required
• Required skills: post-surgical drains, central line care/maintenance, Foley insertion, G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes, IV medication administration/IV push, wound care, and O2 therapy
• Preferred experience: Epic EMR and telemetry experience
• Required credentials: NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required), BLS
• ACLS preferred
