Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend with holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Non-billable orientation period of 8 hours
• Patient population spans from pediatric to geriatric
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5, with possible 1:7 ratio on nights
• 19-bed unit
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Any color scrubs
• New Hampshire state license required
• Formulate, revise, and evaluate individualized patient care plans based on patient response to treatment
• Coordinate and supervise patient care as necessary
• Organize and prioritize job functions effectively
• Utilize assessment data to identify patient care needs, including patient education and discharge planning
• Recognize and report abnormal assessment data and incorporate findings into the plan of care
• Accurately and legibly document all patient care activities including wound assessment, patient care teaching, medication administration, nursing flow sheets, and all assessment forms
• Delegate tasks to healthcare team members appropriately
• Must be able to work posted schedule without shift accommodation requests
• Must be available to work a minimum of two holiday blocks if scheduled
