Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Must have Epic charting system experience; TNCC and pediatrics experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS; TNCC, BSN, and SANE preferred
• Primary care emergency department serving adult patients; stabilize pediatrics and transfer; no trauma
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Approximately 35 patient visits per day; 8-10 rooms/beds
• May float within scope to ICU and Medical/Surgical areas as needed
• Required skills include: blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, starting and maintaining IVs, and triage
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
