Telemetry RN Job in Greensburg, PA

Westmoreland Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit in Greensburg, PA. This is a 119-day travel assignment with 3x12 rotating shifts, including straight night availability and required weekend coverage (4 weekend shifts per contract). You'll earn $1,974 weekly.

Role Overview

You'll care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across 27 rooms and 34 beds. Patient ratios are 6 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends. Your responsibilities include managing patients with medical non-monitored diagnoses such as post-op joint replacement, post-op weight loss management surgery, and post-op general surgery.

• Accessing and managing ports
• Blood product administration
• Central line blood draw
• Chest tube management
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin and insulin administration
• Management of dysrhythmias
• PICC line management
• Tracheostomy care
• Wound care and wound vac management
• Rapid response and code team participation

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Active PA or Compact license at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS (AHA only) certification required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Willingness to float within Westmoreland Hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Availability to work every other holiday

You'll have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services.

Two supervisor references are preferred. Start date: October 5, 2026.
