ED RN Job in Boerne, TX

Methodist Boerne Emergency Center is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract position in the Emergency Department. You will work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotating schedule, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care including urgent care, stroke and STEMI response, and pediatric emergency care
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per schedule)
• Float per Methodist Floating Policy across departments as needed
• Document patient care using the Meditech system
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years emergency room experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

Dress Code

Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket. Maintain clean and healthy nails, neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors. Cover body art whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
