Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Will need to work at least one holiday
• Weekend coverage required with a flexible number of weekend shifts per contract
• Maximum RTO of 7 days; if RTO falls during holidays, must be willing to work 1 of the 3 holidays
• 1 pre-approved time off request permitted
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• SANE certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, and SANE
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, and ENPC
• Charting system: Meditech Expanse (preferred experience)
• Scrub color not specified
• No parking cost
• Must be comfortable floating between two ER locations
• May be required to float or take call at the Center of Hope (approximately 20 minutes from the main ER)
• Patient ratios: 4 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
• Daily census of approximately 50 patients with 13 rooms and 17 beds
• Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs, triage, phlebotomy, and starting and maintaining IVs
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
• Special equipment includes Rapid Transfuser and Pacing equipment
