Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM and night shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Work every other weekend required
• Participate in call rotation approximately one call shift per month or as required by the department
• Call requirement includes 2 hours for the oncoming shift
• Work schedules are determined based on operational needs of the department
• Minimum 3+ years of experience required
• Tertiary, teaching hospital experience and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Float requirements include some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, and ED as well as adult acute and critical care
• Patient ratios: acute 1:25, critical 1:8
• Cover entire facility with a team of 14-16 RRTs
• Equipment includes Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm ventilators
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP for NICU
• RRT certification required
• NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Scrubs provided or flexible dress code
