Respiratory Therapist Job in Portland, ME

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a backfill position running for 182 days, starting July 20, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Call rotation: approximately one shift per month, 2-hour call for oncoming shift
• Weekly pay: $3,206.16

Your Role

You will float across the facility as part of a team of 14–16 RRTs, covering NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, adult acute care, and critical care. Patient ratios are 1:25 in acute care and 1:8 in critical care. You will operate ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm. You will use the EPIC electronic medical records system and work schedules determined by operational department needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• RRT certification required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; NRP required for NICU
• Tertiary teaching hospital experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
