Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Participate in call rotation approximately one call shift per month or as required by the department
• 2-hour call requirement for the oncoming shift
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Float requirements include NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute, and critical care
• Patient ratios: 1:25 for acute care and 1:8 for critical care
• Cover entire facility as part of a team of 14-16 RRTs
• Work with equipment including Drager V500 and VN500 vents, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Use EPIC EMR system
• Tertiary and teaching hospital experience required along with Level 1 trauma experience
• NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Must be flexible, a team player, and have great communication skills
• Required certifications: BLS, RRT; ACLS preferred; NRP required for NICU
• Scrubs provided or flexible scrub color policy
• Work schedules are determined based on operational needs of the department
