Respiratory Therapist Job in Portland, ME

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 182-day travel assignment at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a backfill opportunity on the day shift.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4x12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Every other weekend rotation
• Call rotation approximately one shift per month, with 2-hour call requirement for oncoming shift
• Start date: July 20, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,206.16

Role Responsibilities

• Float across the facility as part of a team of 14-16 RRTs
• Cover NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, ED, adult acute, and critical care units
• Patient ratios: 1:25 for acute care; 1:8 for critical care
• Operate equipment including Drager V500 and VN500 vents, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Document in EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Tertiary and teaching hospital experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• BLS and RRT certifications required
• ACLS preferred; NRP required for NICU work
• NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Flexible team player with strong communication skills
