Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Participate in call rotation approximately one call shift per month or as required by the department
• Call requirement is 2 hours for the oncoming shift
• Work schedules are determined based on operational needs of the department
• Float as an RRT across the facility including NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, adult acute, and critical care
• Cover entire facility as part of a team of 14-16 RRTs
• Patient ratios: acute care 1:25, critical care 1:8
• Operate ventilators and respiratory equipment including Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Tertiary teaching hospital experience and level 1 trauma experience required
• NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
• RRT certification required
• BLS required, ACLS preferred, NRP required for NICU
• Scrubs provided or flexible dress code
