Certified Surgical Technologist in Pittsburgh, PA

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026.

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift pattern: 4x10 evenings with rotating days, evenings, and nights
• Call and weekend requirements: Call shifts rotate between Saturday (24 hours, 7a–7a) and Sunday (16 hours, 7a–11p), with up to 3 weekend call shifts per 6-week period
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• In-house call rooms available
• No block scheduling; Friday night shifts may increase
• Weekends assigned Friday, Saturday, or Sunday as needed

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,305.23

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years OR experience in the last 3 years (3 years preferred)
• Level 1 Trauma experience required (minimum 1 year in last 3 years)
• Minimum 1 year of travel healthcare experience (within last 3 years)
• Proficient/expert in General Surgery
• Proficient/expert in Orthopedic Surgery (total joints)
• Proficient/expert in Neurosurgery (cranial and spine)
• Proficient/expert in Vascular Surgery
• Proficient/expert in Trauma Surgery
• Proficient/expert in Robotics—DaVinci (including cardiac cases: arm movement and draping)
• Transplant experience preferred but not required
• Cannot have been a previous regular employee of this facility

You will be part of a high-acuity surgical team supporting multiple specialties at a Level 1 Trauma center. Your expertise across general, ortho, neuro, vascular, trauma, and robotic-assisted procedures will be essential.
