ICU RN Job in Fort Worth, TX

Kindred Hospital – Tarrant County (Fort Worth Southwest Campus) is seeking a registered nurse for the adult ICU on the night shift. This 70-week travel assignment runs 3x12-hour shifts and pays $2,398 weekly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patient conditions and developing individualized care plans
• Treating wounds and providing advanced life support
• Assisting physicians with procedures
• Observing and recording vital signs, and responding to changes in patient status
• Ensuring ventilators, monitors, and other critical equipment function properly, including adjusting ventilators and IABP devices
• Administering intravenous fluids and medications
• Performing suctioning and other respiratory care procedures
• Collaborating with the critical care team to deliver coordinated care
• Responding to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
• Advocating for patients and their needs
• Providing education and emotional support to patient families
• Caring for pre- and post-operative patients as assigned

Required qualifications:

• Current Texas RN license or multi-state RN license
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
