Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Houston, TX

HCA Houston West is seeking an RN for their Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 13-week travel assignment running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days per week, starting September 14, 2026. You'll earn $2,226 weekly.

About the Role

You'll work in a 3-procedure-room Cardiac Cath Lab located on the 1st floor of the main building. Your team will maintain a 3-to-1 patient ratio during procedures. You'll perform or assist with left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker and ICD implants, Watchman procedures, interventional radiology procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations using pulsed-field ablation (PFA) technology.

Daily Responsibilities

• Operate Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
• Document procedures using MERGE Hemo Cath Lab documentation system and Meditech Expanse EMR
• Follow universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderate sedation guidelines
• Float to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed
• Participate in on-call night shift coverage rotation (staffing varies: 2 RNs and 1 Cath Lab Tech, or 1 RN and 2 Cath Lab Techs)

Schedule and Requirements

Your day shift includes one full weekend plus two weekdays per four-week cycle, totaling 10 shifts monthly. Hospital-provided sky blue scrubs are required.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Flexibility and strong teamwork skills
