PCU Registered Nurse Job in Morehead City, NC

Carteret Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Morehead City, North Carolina. This is a 13-week travel contract offering night shift work with competitive weekly compensation of $1,995.84.

Position Details

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Schedule: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within scope as needed
• Contract duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Qualifications

• Current Valid State or Compact nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of PCU or Stepdown experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Requirements

• Two professional references completed within two years of the application date
• References must be completed by someone in a supervisory capacity
