MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM EST
• Holiday, on-call, and callback availability required per unit needs
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Document all procedures while maintaining confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed
• Must be familiar with medical terminology and able to stand for extended periods
• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• GE scanner experience required to be considered
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Injection certification required to be considered
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• New York State Radiology Tech license required (must be willing to obtain after starting)
