MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Allied Health Professional MRI Technologist for a 17-week travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. You will work weekend overnight shifts—Friday through Sunday—12.5 hours per shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST.

Compensation and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $3,217.50
• Assignment duration: 17 weeks
• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Holidays, on-call, and callback required per unit needs

Core Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Document all procedures while maintaining confidentiality of patient information
• Perform patient care tasks as needed
• Stand for extended periods throughout your shift

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE scanner experience required
• Injection certification required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• NY state license required
• Ability to stand for extended periods
