MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 17-week travel assignment. You will work night shifts Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with on-call and callback duties as needed per unit requirements. Holiday shifts are required.

About the Role

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate MRI equipment efficiently and ensure timely delivery of results to physicians. You will prepare patients for scans, explain procedures to ensure comfort, and insert IVs when necessary for contrast-enhanced imaging. You will document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality and demonstrate familiarity with medical terminology. The role requires you to stand for extended periods throughout your shift.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE Scanner experience required
• Injection Certification required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• New York State Radiology Tech license (you must be willing to obtain this after starting if not already licensed)

Duration: 117 days (17 weeks)

Shift Length: 8 hours

Weekly Pay: $2,075
