ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

You are a Registered Nurse with travel experience seeking a 91-day assignment in the Emergency Department at United Regional in Wichita Falls, Texas. This role begins September 8, 2026, with an attractive weekly pay of $2,099.52.

Schedule and Staffing

• 3x12 day shifts on a 36/48 hour alternating block schedule
• 84 hours scheduled biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across days, nights, and weekends

Experience and Credentials

You have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a high-volume or trauma facility, with 3 years preferred. No first-time travelers are accepted; prior travel experience is required. Trauma Level II experience is preferred. You hold current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications, with Epic charting system experience. Additional certifications in CPI, MAB, and ENPC are preferred.

Clinical Competencies

You are proficient in a wide range of emergency department skills including arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilator care, central line management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia and ABG interpretation, 12-lead EKG/ECG, procedural sedation, intubation, and triage. You have experience with combined adult and pediatric populations and are comfortable caring for all age groups from neonates through geriatrics.

Facility Overview

United Regional operates a busy emergency department with a daily census of 190 patients across 62 rooms. You will have access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, social services, phlebotomy, and unit secretaries to support your clinical practice.
