Med Surg RN Job in Alexandria, LA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a 91-day travel assignment at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. You will work the night shift (7 PM–7 AM, 3 days per week) on a 36-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit located on the 3rd floor of the South Tower.

Role Details:

• Patient ratio of 6:1 on a combined Med Surg/Tele floor
• Night shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 6 nurses (RN/LPN mix), and 3 techs
• Floating to other Med Surg/Tele floors as needed
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month required

Clinical Equipment & Procedures:

• Equipment: EKG machine, DynaMaps, bladder scanner, vein finder, and telemetry monitoring
• Unit performs heart catheterizations and other Med Surg/Tele procedures
• Meditech EMR platform

Requirements:

• Valid RN license
• Med Surg/Tele experience required
• ACLS certification (must be current prior to submission)
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Must be located 50+ miles from the facility
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue

Compensation & Timeline:

• Weekly pay: $2,233.80
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: October 5, 2026
