Endoscopy RN Job in Akron, OH

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy department. This is a day shift position running 5 days per week, 8 hours per shift. You'll work variable start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with end times between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM—your exact schedule will be finalized during your interview.

What you'll do:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff in a procedural setting

Scheduling:

• No scheduled weekend shifts; on-call weekends only
• 1–2 weekday on-call shifts per week (on-call until 7:00 AM)
• 1–2 weekend on-call shifts per 6 weeks (24-hour Saturday–Sunday coverage)
• One-hour response time required when called in

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of permanent Endoscopy nursing experience
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications (must be current at time of application)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• Must pass safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)

• Duration: 91 days

• Weekly pay: $2,179
