ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend required, potentially up to every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required (generally 3 of the 6 major holidays)
• No call requirement
• May float to Med Surg if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• SANE Certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Care for patients requiring pressors, sedation, thrombolytic therapy, electrolyte replacement, cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator/BiPAP support
• Perform bedside procedures including chest tube placement, intubation, line placement, cardioversions, lumbar punctures, and thoracentesis
• May require conscious sedation
• Experience with Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, bladder scanner, vein finder, telemetry, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, EKOS, and A-line/CVP required
• Charting system: Meditech
• Scrub color: Any color, professional appearance required
