ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work in a fast-paced emergency department with an average patient ratio of 3:1, low acuity 5:1, and pediatric team nursing
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel per pod
• Perform typical ED procedures including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
• Scan patients and medications every time per unit guidelines
• Work with Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card
• Experience traveling or working at large facility areas required
• Meditech experience preferred
• ENPC certification preferred
• Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
