PCU RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at BUMC Phoenix, located at 1111 E McDowell Rd. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Weekly Pay: $2,559
• Specialty: PCU – Progressive Care Unit
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

Core Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Review patient history and physical with patients and families; ensure timely completion
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate individualized care plans including discharge planning using assessment data and patient/family input
• Implement care plans through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to licensed nurses and personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives
• Contribute to quality improvement programs
• Precept and mentor staff to support professional growth

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience must include work in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the PCU specialty
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
