ED RN Job in Lake Geneva, WI

Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for night shift work. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 30, 2026, offering $2,214 weekly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient plans of care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, facility policies, procedures, and Wisconsin state practice standards
• Perform comprehensive assessments, plan interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Document all care delivery according to established standards
• Provide patient and family education as part of the plan of care
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and shared governance initiatives
• Apply clinical expertise to guide other departments in supporting continuity of care
• Demonstrate critical thinking in patient safety and experience, escalating concerns appropriately through the chain of command
• Engage in the professional nursing continuum, including peer review and unit practice decisions

Requirements:

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure
• Active BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current TNCC or TNS certification
• Minimum experience as an Emergency Department RN
• Education verification required prior to start

Night shift hours include rotating weekends. You will work in a hospital setting with established protocols and a collaborative care team. This assignment offers you the opportunity to expand your emergency nursing expertise while supporting patient care in a community hospital environment.
