Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week period with holiday rotation
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours policy
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units may be required
• Provide complex nursing care to patients with multiple GI diagnoses including those in Bariatric and Autologous Islet Cell Programs
• Care for patients 17 years of age and older across Luminal, Hepatology, and GI Surgery service lines
• Utilize a modified modular nursing model to enhance teamwork
• Perform and support skills including isolation precautions/PPE, peripheral line care and management, starting and maintaining IVs, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Chart using EPIC system - experience required
• Scrub color: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS
• First-time travelers accepted
• Block schedule available with manager approval dependent on unit needs
