Opportunity:

RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours - must be indicated on submission form
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Will float on a rotational basis
• Patient ratios vary: days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment; RTO must be made up on the back end
• Only 1 holiday RTO request permitted per assignment
• Provide direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Utilize nursing process to provide patient care for Neuro, Med, and Med Tele patients
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient telemetry experience required
• 1 year of inpatient neurology experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Required equipment: Telemetry, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps
• EMR system: EPIC
• Current RN license meeting eligibility criteria for Missouri required
• Dress code: Black scrubs only
