PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - Trauma

Job Details:

• Work on the A4W Trauma Telemetry unit located on the 5th floor
• Unit has 36 beds and a staff of 50+
• Day shift RN ratio is 1:5/6 and night shift RN ratio is 1:6/7
• Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift)
• Prepare patients for Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and Operating Room procedures
• Float to sister units as needed: Med-Surge units 3W, 5W, and K8
• Use medical remote telemetry monitoring, Cerner Patient Observation (CPO), and VC150s available in every patient room
• Utilize workstation on wheels and Tap and Go for computer and documentation access
• Document using Cerner EMR
• Required certifications: BLS
• CMSRN certification encouraged
• Medical telemetry experience required
• BSN, charge nurse experience, and leadership experience preferred
• Dress code: Navy blue top and bottom, white top and navy blue bottom, or all white scrubs
