CVOR First Assist

Opportunity:

CSFA - First Assist OR

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule
• Call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs
• Weekends only required during call
• Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Patients include adults and geriatrics
• HARD STOP requirements: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic experience required
• Heart Transplant experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and CSFA; NBSTSA or NCCSA also accepted
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community Hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required skills include but are not limited to: Cardiac, CVOR, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic, CABG, TAVR, TEVAR, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, Heart and Lung Transplant, VAD, VATS, Laparoscopic procedures, Spinal Fusion, Total Joint Replacement, and a wide range of surgical specialties
• No self-scheduling; block schedules not honored
• Travel pairs not accepted
• No holiday RTO accepted
• All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule requests accepted post offer or onsite
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
