PCU Registered Nurse Job in Fort Myers, FL

Gulf Coast Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Fort Myers, FL. This is a 92-day travel assignment beginning November 6, 2026, with three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,272 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You will work on a 52-bed Neuro PCU unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 to 5:1. As a travel nurse, you are expected to function as core staff and will float as needed to both sides of the Neuro floor, including the stepdown and PCU sides. Travelers are first to float, and this may include possible float to sister campuses.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Neuro experience required
• Experience with Cardene and Cleviprex required
• Ability to read EKG rhythms required
• Degree accreditation must be on profile or 5 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
