Job Details:

• Day shift position working 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call requirements as required by facility
• Float requirements as required by facility
• Work with respiratory patients throughout all areas of the hospital including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma
• Adult critical care and high volume busy ED with Trauma experience required
• Preferred skills include blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, and blood gas interpretation
• Pediatric patients are stabilized in the ED and transported to a sister hospital
• Equipment used includes Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 BiPAP with Bellavista, Vapotherm, and Airvo for high flow
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required licensure: RRT, licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Preferred certification: PALS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Strong confident therapist with good time management skills preferred
• Scrub color: Black (Mercy standard scrubs must be black)
