MICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Opportunity:

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Medical ICU unit located on Floor 4, Building 7
• Unit consists of 26 beds with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio (estimated, never guaranteed)
• Work alongside a team of 65 staff members including Charge RNs, RNs, and PCTs
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH stroke scale
• Experience with CRRT and Sono IV preferred
• Prior Meditech/CPN EMR experience preferred
• Experience traveling to large trauma facilities preferred
• Perform moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management procedures
• Work with CRRT equipment
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork, coachability, adaptability, and a positive attitude
