WVU Medicine Golisano Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Morgantown, WV. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,479.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work a rotating combination of eight-hour and twelve-hour shifts per week
• Coverage includes afternoons, nights, and weekends
• One call shift per week required with 1–2 weekend call shifts; 30-minute response time required
• Rotating holiday coverage and mandatory standby requirements
• Serve as Charge RN on midnight shifts
• Scrubs are provided

Clinical Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical cases across 6 operating rooms and 1 procedural room, with 15–28 cases performed daily
• Common procedures include tonsillectomies, hypospadias repair, rectus muscle procedures, craniotomy, cardiac, and orthopedic cases
• Scrubbing is preferred but not required
• Float to 5N/1W and Children's units as needed
• Chart using the EPIC system

Onboarding

• Two-day orientation and checklist completion required before beginning patient care

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS Certification required
