ED Registered Nurse Job in Reidsville, NC

Cone Health - Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting November 16, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,177.28.

Schedule & Staffing

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• Must work 2 out of 4 holidays with minimal RTO
• Float required as needed across campus locations
• Patient ratios: 4 patients on days/weekends, 5 patients on nights

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• TNCC preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital and STEMI/Stroke certified facility experience preferred

Clinical Skills & Patient Population

You will care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Required competencies include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care, continuous IV sedation, CVA management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, head injury and traumatic brain injury care, ICP monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases, IV vasopressor administration, neuro-trauma and orthopedic trauma care, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, spinal cord injury management, starting and maintaining IVs, isolation precautions and PPE, and triage.

Support & Resources

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. Telemedicine capability is available in the department.
