Job Details:

• 8-week contract with option for temp to perm placement
• Work with adult patient population
• Must be RRT registered
• Required experience with SERVO U ventilators
• NICU experience is a plus
• EPIC experience preferred
• Administer competent patient care through airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and respiratory care procedures
• Perform standard respiratory care including aerosol medication delivery, basic bedside pulmonary function testing, breathing exercises, oxygen therapy, and arterial punctures
• Provide all aspects of airway management including aspiration of established airways, tracheostomy care, tracheostomy tube changes, endotracheal intubations, and extubations
• Perform Pulmonary Function Testing as needed
• Manage all aspects of ventilator care including setup, function verification, specialized ventilator modes, patient monitoring, and weaning techniques
• May be required to be on-call during days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Functions independently with minimal supervision
• Serves as a resource to other staff reflective of experience level
