Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• 13-week assignment length
• 2 openings available
• Weekend hours as required by the facility
• Call requirements as required by the facility
• Patient ratio of 1:6 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Utilize nursing process to provide patient care for cardiac patients including post cardiac cath, Afib, CHF, stable MI, pacemaker insertion, non-titrated cardiac drips, and general medical overflow patients
• Must be competent with insulin drips, Precedex, titrating nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP
• Step Down unit also takes post-op surgical patients and trauma patients
• Equipment used includes IV pumps, computers, glucometer, and GE monitoring equipment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color required: Black only (no other colors accepted)
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire orientation week
• Must have 2+ years of Stepdown or ICU experience in an acute care hospital
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Current RN License required, must meet criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri
• Flexible, dependable, and hardworking with strong teamwork skills required
