Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call responsibilities
• Provide cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures
• Demonstrate competency in IABP/Impella and hemodynamic monitoring
• Perform arterial/venous sheath removals and/or closure devices
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during implantation of permanent pacemakers and ICDs
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
• Demonstrate competency with interventional procedures including thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart procedures
• Manage complications including air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis reactions, and cardiac tamponade
• Practice radiation safety and utilize ALARA principles for all exams
• Perform and record quality control checks
• Minimum 2–3 years of recent Cath Lab experience in a busy lab required
• Demonstrated experience scrubbing and operating imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• Current ARRT certification and state licensure required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred but not required
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
• Experience with Coronary Angiography, Stent, Impella, IABP, Laser, Lithotripsy, OCT, IVUS, IFR/FFR, Mechanical Thrombectomy, temporary pacemaker, and peripheral interventions preferred
• Experience with multiple cath lab documentation and imaging systems preferred
