ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 36/48 hour alternating schedule with 84 hour biweekly guarantee
• Straight 48-hour schedule with 84 hour biweekly guarantee also considered
• Weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling type
• Support ED and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU); CDU is run by ED provider with stable, independent patients at ratios up to 5:1
• Patient ratio experience of 4 patients required
• 3 years of experience preferred; travel experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Must be comfortable with a wide range of emergency skills including arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, IV vasopressors, interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs, 12-lead EKG/ECG, phlebotomy, procedural sedation, triage, splint application, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Must be comfortable working with neonatal through adult patient populations
• General combined adult and pediatric emergency department experience required
