CVOR Technologist Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is hiring a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CVOR Tech) for a 13-week contract. You will work 5 days per week on day shifts with 40 guaranteed hours weekly, reporting to the cardiovascular operating room team.

Responsibilities

• Set up operative suites efficiently and review case carts to confirm all supplies are available
• Scrub surgical cases across cardiac, thoracic, and other specialties
• Perform room turnovers for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Assist with case cart pulls and cleaning during downtime
• Float to Central Aspirus locations as needed

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Every third weekend required with holiday rotation
• On-call: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week (30-minute response time to be ready and in the OR)
• May occasionally require additional mandated call

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted)
• BLS certification
• AHA or ARC certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree or Certificate preferred)
• Cardiac/thoracic experience and thoracic robot experience required
