CVOR Technologist Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel contract. You will work day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up operative suites and verify all supplies through case cart review
• Scrub surgical cases across cardiothoracic and other specialties
• Turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Support approximately 50–60 cases per month across 3 cardiothoracic surgeons
• Complete downtime tasks including pulling case carts and cleaning
• May float to other Central Aspirus locations as needed

On-Call Requirements:

• 1 night of call per week with 30-minute response time
• 1 weekend per month
• 1 backup per week, on-call and ready in the OR within 30 minutes
• Every 3rd weekend required with holiday rotation
• Additional mandated call may occasionally be required

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• BLS certification
• CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted)
• AHA or ARC certifications
• Cardiac and thoracic experience; thoracic robot experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
